We’ll meet you at The Starting Line…

The Starting Line Run Club is for people who want to run a half marathon without doing it alone. Running doesn’t need to be overwhelming, so we’re here to simplify the journey and ensure that you never have to race alone. We create supportive training plans and race day crews so you can show up confident, prepared and actually enjoy the journey. On race day, we will literally meet you at The Starting Line to run with you and support you all the way.

How it works

Step 1: Pick your race

Choose the half marathon you would like to do and submit the sign up form for that half marathon package (The half marathon ticket is included in the fee so no need to book it yourself).                                                               

Step 2: Get your personalised plan

Have a call with your coach and get your personalised half marathon training plan based on your current fitness, experience and lifestyle.

Step 3: Meet your people

We connect you with others training for the same race — similar pace, same goal, same nerves. You will be added to a group chat with everyone running your race so you will always be able to chat and train with others. We’ll organize optional monthly run clubs to prepare for some of our longer runs together. 

Step 4: One-to-one coach check-in

Your coach will check in with you as frequently as you request. We will also send additional information from our dietician and other experts throughout the 12-week programme. 

Step 5: Train & race together

Train with your new running besties and show up on race day knowing you’re not doing this alone – the whole Starting Line team will be running with you!

Personalised Training Plan

Individualised training plans with both running and gym programmes developed by a team of running coaches and personal trainers.

1:1 Call and updates from your coach

Your coach will have an initial consultation call with you to make sure the plan works best for your lifestyle and will continue to check in as frequently as you request throughout the 12 weeks

Race Entrance Fee

Your entrance to your chosen half marathon is included so no need to book your spot in the race separately

Monthly Running Meet-Ups

We’ll hold optional monthly run clubs so you can meet fellow runners and get your longer runs done in a group environment.

Race Day Meet Up

We will quite literally meet you at The Starting Line. Nothing beats running a half marathon together so on race day, the whole Starting Line team will be there to run the race with you and celebrate together!

Accountability and tracking

Your coach will monitor all runs and gym sessions through our app so you always know that you’re doing ok without having to send constant updates!

Groupchat support with fellow runners

We’ll have a group chat with all other runners so you can share the experience and meet new friends to train and race with

A genuinely supportive running community

We don’t want to overcomplicate things – we just want to help people start running and make new friends doing it
